HIIT Your Way Fit

High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) is classified as a workout that alternates between high intense bursts of activity with slower paced activity, This type of exercise can last from 4-30 minutes so this is perfect if you're crunched for time but still want to workout.

All you cardio people listen up! When you do a HIIT workout involving running you burn more calories then you would by only jogging for an hour. So you are saving time and burning more fat because the high intensity periods help speed up your metabolism.

Another great part about HIIT is that you lose fat not muscle unlike when you only do cardio you lose muscle. You can also do it anywhere with or without equipment. So they're no excuses you can maek up about not doing it.

My experience with HIIT is really great because I'm the type of person who gets bored easily like when I run on the treadmill it's not fun at all. I also like taking breaks a lot so this is perfect because I can give it my all then take it slow. I like to do sprints then take a minute break. As a college student I don't have all the time in the world but I try to get my body moving each day but sometimes I can't fit an hour in but with this I can be out of the gym in 30 minutes.

Here is a 7 minute HIIT workout from Pop Sugar to get you started:
